FREELAND FEST 2026

A Music Festival of Freedom and Ukrainian Identity
21 August 2026 — Prague / 22 August 2026 — Warsaw

FREELAND FEST is an international cultural event created to honor Ukraine’s Independence Day and to unite Ukrainians across the world through music, identity, and collective memory. In a time when millions have been scattered globally due to war, the festival becomes a symbolic gathering point — a place where the nation reconnects, breathes together, and remembers who we are.

A Celebration of Freedom That Cannot Be Silenced

FREELAND FEST stands on a simple but powerful truth:
no war, no distance, and no borders can break the cultural code of a free nation.

Music becomes the voice of this freedom.
A voice that continues to rise even when the world falls silent.
A voice that carries the strength of our cities, the memories of our homes, and the resilience of those who continue to fight for Ukraine’s tomorrow.

The festival’s name — FREELAND — reflects the essence of what Ukraine embodies today:
a land that chooses freedom, protects freedom, and continues to create despite everything.

Mission

The mission of FREELAND FEST is to preserve, strengthen, and amplify Ukrainian cultural identity worldwide. As communities adapt to new realities far from home, the festival becomes a cultural anchor — a reminder that our roots remain unbroken, our voice remains clear, and our shared rhythm continues to pulse across continents.

Goals

1. Unite Ukrainian communities abroad.
To create a space where people can reconnect, celebrate independence, and experience the emotional presence of home — even far from it.

2. Preserve and transmit the cultural code of Ukraine.
To show that Ukrainian culture not only survives in times of war — it grows, evolves, and resonates across borders.

3. Strengthen international awareness of Ukraine’s resilience.
To highlight that freedom is not a slogan but a lived reality for millions of Ukrainians who continue to embody courage, dignity, and creativity.

4. Create a modern cultural symbol of independence.
A festival that becomes part of the global Ukrainian narrative — one that celebrates life, love, and the power of creation despite adversity.

A Shared Rhythm Across Continents

FREELAND FEST is not entertainment for entertainment’s sake.
It is a cultural act. An act of unity, remembrance, and resistance.

It brings together Ukrainians from Prague, Warsaw, and every city where life has carried them — reminding all of us that wherever we are, we share one rhythm, one heartbeat, one voice.

This festival affirms a truth the world must hear:
Ukraine lives. Ukraine creates. Ukraine sounds.
And it will continue to sound — louder, brighter, and freer — no matter what.

An Invitation to the Ukrainian World

On 21 August in Prague and 22 August in Warsaw, FREELAND FEST will open its doors to everyone who carries Ukraine in their heart.

Together, we will celebrate independence.
Together, we will honor freedom.
Together, we will show that Ukrainian culture is alive — and unstoppable.

FREELAND FEST 2026:
When a nation scattered across the world becomes one again.
When freedom finds its sound.
