The legendary Ukrainian comedy “Za dvoma zaitsiamy” comes to stages across Europe in a vibrant musical production filled with sparkling humour, live music, songs, romantic intrigue and unmistakable Ukrainian character.
A story loved by generations returns in a fresh, dynamic theatrical form. At its centre is Svyryd Holokhvostyi, a charming adventurer who decides to secure his future by courting two brides at once. What looks like a flawless plan quickly turns into a whirlwind of comic misunderstandings, unexpected encounters and impossible situations.
Pronia, Holokhvostyi and the other beloved characters are vivid, temperamental, hilarious and instantly recognisable. Everything audiences love about this classic is here: sharp comedy, romance, adventure, music and the irresistible energy of Ukrainian theatre.
The cast features acclaimed Ukrainian performers, including People’s Artists of Ukraine Anatoliy Hnatiuk, Tamara Yatsenko and Oksana Pekun, together with other outstanding representatives of the Ukrainian stage.
